Letter from the RTM Directors
Dear Fellow Leaseholders,
Welcome to the official website for Mann Island Right to Manage (RTM) initiative. Right to Manage is about improving the management of Mann Island, taking pride in where we live and making Mann Island a more pleasant, higher-quality place to live. Management hasn’t listened to leaseholders and residents for far too long. We deserve better.
The first step was setting up a leaseholder-owned not-for-profit company: 11 & 15 Mann Island Liverpool RTM. When we have Right To Manage, 11 & 15 will take over from Mann Island Properties Limited (MIPL) the right to choose the management company and to set service standards for Mann Island leaseholders and residents.
Now, we’re requesting your support. We’ve created this platform to support that. We want to keep you informed, empowered, and involved as we move to take control of the management of our shared home. This site is a central resource for transparency and education. It includes information on our progress, answers to frequently asked questions, and clear guidance on the actions you can take to make RTM happen. Whether you are ready to sign up or still have questions about liability and logistics, you’ll find answers here.
We are here to listen. We understand that RTM can seem complex. We don’t want to push you for a decision. Instead, we want every leaseholder to feel confident.

How Does RTM Benefit Me?
We are pushing for the Right to Manage because we believe Mann Island deserves better. Management hasn’t listened to leaseholders and residents for far too long. The recent challenges around glazing unit replacement and around Switch2 are only the latest examples. With Right to Manage, we will choose the management company, and we will set service standards, not unaccountable investors. By doing this, we will:
Improve standards across maintenance, cleaning, and security
Protect the long-term value of Mann Island as a premium waterfront asset
Increase transparency and accountability
Increase control over service charges and budgets
Remember: the RTM directors are leaseholders like you. We pay the same service charges and volunteer our time.
